Happy 1st Birthday Sweet EJ!!!

Granddaddy is still mad that you missed his birthday by 1 day! Haha! We love you!

You now have 4 teeth (top 2 front and bottom 2 front, they pretty much came in all at the same time, bottom first!)

You pull up and walk around the furniture, sometimes stand on your own for a few seconds and are getting close to walking...we have seen that daring look in your eye!

You are still attached to your paci, which Anderson loves to steal and hide! But we are trying to start weaning you off of it, we'll see how that goes!

You love Anderson more than anything in the world. You pretty much follow him around, messing up his stuff, which drives him crazy! You have embraced the role of little brother well!

You pretty much only eat big boy food now but are pretty picky, eating mostly bread, crackers, cookies, bananas, oatmeal, applesauce and yogurt! You also drink juice, water and milk and are learning to use the sippy cup!

You are still the sweetest thing, always smiling and doing your little "head dance." You give real kisses too, so sweet!

Your party is on Saturday so we will report more then!
It is so hard to believe that you are already 1 year old! What a fast year!

Happy Memorial Day!!!

A BIG THANKS to all those who are serving or have served our country so that we can enjoy this sweet freedom!

On that note, praise Jesus for setting us free from the law of sin and death!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!" (Galatians 5:1)

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Anderson!

His cupcake cake!

It is hard to believe that my baby is 3 years old today! It is scary how time flies!

Anderson's birthday has been a week long celebration! We started last Saturday with a 'Thomas the Train' party at the Austin Children's Museum. The museum display right now is 'All Systems Go' so everything is transportation related, which he loved! There was a little train driving on tracks overhead, a train with a video screen that you could 'drive,' 2 huge train tables, and much much more! The kids had a blast and he got alot of great gifts! After the party, we ate at Shady Grove (yummy) with family and friends, and then headed to the ranch for dinner with the Vick family! Of course Anderson and Caleb had a blast driving their gator, playing in the sand (throwing it at each other) and riding in the big gator with Granddaddy!

Playing trains at the ACM!

On Monday, Anderson got to go play at the indoor playground at the mall and have cupcakes after lunch. And since it was his birthday, he got to ride the 2 trains at the mall! He asks to ride everytime we go and we always say no. We couldn't say no to the birthday boy!

Stuffing his cupcake into his mouth!

Today Anderson awoke to homemade cinnamon rolls (out of the Pillsbury package) and then he headed to preschool with a package of mini cupcakes for his classmates! After preschool, he opened all of his birthday gifts and then had pizza for dinner!

His birthday gift from Mommy & Daddy!

And as you can tell, he has been hyped up on sugar all week! We are partied out!

WE LOVE YOU SWEET ANDERSON! HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY! :)

And by the way: EJ FINALLY HAS TEETH!

Playing trains at the ACM!

He has had no teeth for almost 11 months and then they all decided to start coming in at the same time, so he has been pretty fussy (for him) these last few weeks!

His front bottom left tooth (no idea of the technical term) broke skin on Sunday, April 26th and then the front bottom right tooth came through a few days later! He is now working on his top two front teeth (you can see them but they have not broken skin yet).

He is finally eating big boy food now that he has teeth! He has been eating puffs, cheerios, bread, and bananas!

He is so pleasant, sweet, and funny! He LOVES to play peek-a-boo and to chase Anderson around, messing up all of his stuff (which drives Anderson crazy)! They are already your typical older brother/younger brother duo.

He is crawling fast and also pulling up on everything and cruising, no walking on his own yet! His 1st birthday is 3 weeks from today! Crazy! :)

Help! I need somebody, help!

I need the help of all my faithful blog readers, so that means YOU! :) I am trying to spread the word about my sports ministry, Worthy of the Prize! You can find out more about it here, but basically I do fitness camps for women, volleyball team camps, church sports camps, team-building clinics, motivational speaking, and recreation events. I consider myself to be a 'recreation consultant' of sorts, meaning I will go anywhere you need me and will set up any type of recreational ministry event you want, or I will come in and speak or lead at events you have already set up. I will do this for any type of group, including but not limited to...church groups, businesses, schools, and sports teams. Just let me know!

A few other things you can do to help me out...

1. If you have a blog, you can go to the Worthy of the Prize blog, grab my blog button and put it on your page so that your blog readers can click on it to check out my ministry! My most recent blog post will tell you exactly how to do this if you do not already know how. There you will find updates on events, as well as pictures, discussions on health and fitness related topics, and spiritual thoughts!

2. If you are on Facebook, you can become a fan of Worthy of the Prize Sports Ministries and also join the Worthy of the Prize Fit Camp group! By joining the fit camp group, you will not only receive updates about fit camp, but also health and fitness related topics and tips, plus spiritual thoughts!

3. If you live in the NW Austin area, I can email you my fit camp flyers to pass on to your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, etc. Just email me at worthyoftheprize@yahoo.com and let me know that you want me to send you one! In the fall I am planning to start a new workout group in addition to the current fit camp, which will be called 'Stroller Mamas.' Stay tuned for more about that this summer!

4. You can purchase a cute pink WOTP t-shirt or water bottle, which are displayed on the right side of this blog page. Just email me at worthyoftheprize@yahoo.com and let me know, they make great gifts too! I have found that the water bottles are wonderful, making it SO easy to get in the suggested 64oz. a day! They are 32oz. bottles so you only have to drink 2, which is WAY easier than drinking 4 of the plastic bottles! These also have a freezer stick to keep cold, a pop up spout, an easy grip and also a handle that you can hook onto any bag, stroller, etc to carry with you! The t-shirt and bottle are each $10 so let me know if you want one! They are selling like crazy here in Austin, even to people who are not in my fit camp! If you live in the NW Austin area and decide to sign up for Fit Camp, you get the t-shirt for FREE!

5. If you live in the Anderson Mill area, you can put one of my pretty pink signs in your yard! Email me at worthyoftheprize@yahoo.com and let me know if you want one!

THANKS SO MUCH!!!:)

I should have more exciting news to post next week since Anderson will be turning 3! Crazy!
