Root Root Root for the Rangers!

A BIG THANKS to Jim Sundberg and Josh Hamilton, of the Texas Rangers baseball team, for taking and sending me these photos, which will be entered into Stellan's Name Gallery!

If you have not been keeping up with Stellan's story, go here to find out about and pray for this precious baby boy and his family!

While you are at it, go here and vote for Jim Sundberg, for the greatest baseball player in Texas Rangers history! Even if you do not care, do it for me! Thanks! Go Jim! :)

This past weekend, we drove to Arlington for our annual Opening Day outing at the Ballpark in Arlington! Every year we go out there early for a tailgate party with family and friends, then we attend the opening ceremonies followed by the game, and then we head back out to the parking lot for more tailgating fun! This year it was extra special because it was EJ's 1st Opening Day!!

It was also extra special because while we were in town, we got to be at the hospital when my newest little nephew, Eli Vick Lewis, was born! He entered the world on Sunday, April 5th at 12:37pm, weighing in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20.5 inches long! The delivery was smooth, safe and fast! Mommy and baby are doing great! Thanks for the prayers! To see some pictures of the little guy, go here.

Opening Day was exciting as usual, although cold and really windy! We could have done without that! But, we did get to see the Rangers win BIG! Go Rangers! We also got to see George W. Bush throw out the first pitch to Josh Hamilton, which was awesome! It was nice to have him back in the stadium again! The funniest part was that after he pitched it, Josh got up and asked W to autograph the ball for him! I actually got his autograph there, way back in the day, when he owned the team, before he was Mr. President! My dad told me to go get it because, "he might be the governor someday." Ha! I wanted to get his picture with Stellan too, but it didn't work out, maybe some other time! All in all, it was a great weekend, filled with lots of excitement!

Here are some pictures of the boys from Opening Day:
